Happy 5th Birthday Abby

Abby's mom... and of course there's Abby right on top of the puppy pile! She is a catahoula leopard dog. And on the top right is Abby's dad who is full boxer. I do not believe in buying from breeders but Sean got her before we started dating. But she is the most wonderful dog I've ever met. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is our everything. Happy 5th birthday Abby and too many more!

Hello preppy people.

That's usually the type that goes there. Haha, had a lot of fun with Sean's family. The own a timeshare there and go every year, this is our second time! We went to the diner we always go to, the Italian restaurant with everyone every time and we visit a mansion and drive around to see the beautiful homes there! One looks like Hogwarts. I love going to the little Irish pub and listening to the live music. Sean and I take nice long naps in the master bedroom, we are lucky enough to always get it. It's a king sized bed!! And it's on the first floor away from the other rooms, which is good since we stay up late and sleep with the tv on. We visited the Chateau-sur-Mer mansion. Last year was The Rosecliff (aka the gatsby party life). I always enjoy this little vacation, it's nice to just relax and walk around. Though Sean does hate the shopping! Oh well he can get over it haha! Here's a few pictures from the trip!

The last one was on their card! I actually photoshoped Bridget's face on! I combines two photos because her face in this one was good but his was perfect for a silly photo! I love photoshop!

I am not a Queen, I'm a Khalessi

Boo!

It's that time of year again! It's the 3rd annually Halloween party! I am making my costume this year. I love Game of Thrones, especially Daenerys. She's just a full on badass! The queen of dragons went form doing what she was told to becoming a strong, confident, and fair leader. What's not to love?! Here is the making of my costume!

The costume.

Making bottom wrap skirt.

Front bottom covering.

Started with an old halter top, to get the layout right.

Cut out the tank and formed the top with a bit of sewing and velcro, made braids from the straps and cut front of top into the v shape, frayed the edges to give it the worn look. and added a bottom to secure it. 

The little button, I actually did a good job sewing it on!
