Been one since I was little. Well I didn't know the word for it. I don't believe in god or a higher power but I have good morals and I believe in things like love and kindness, I believe in doing the right thing, having mutual respect for others, I believe in being a good person. And like the one man said, I do like people saying bless you when I sneeze.

DIY Grandma Sign

Grandma's gift was my favorite to give. I had an old canvas so I painted it a solid color then I used a stencil to write "Grandkids" and added a little detail to it with dots. Under that in a different color I wrote "Make life grand!" I attached clothespins  to the bottom. In the scrapbook section of Michaels they have ones that are decorated all cute and have a variety of colors. I did ones with zig zags and polka dots. I hot glued them down. Next I made to sure to have every grandchild on it including long term loves. So Sean made the cut, and of course Dina's husband Odie! My grams LOVED it. I was thrilled! And now she can hang it up in her house and actually have current photos of her grandkids, like their are no photos of most of use over our teen years. Haha!

A Fish For Odie

My Christmas gift for my brother-in-law was a painting of a bass fish. He is big into fish, even does tournaments and is in a club. I had no idea what I was going to get him this year then at the store I saw watercolor canvas! Never saw that before, so I scooped up a few and used on for Odie! Came out okay, my hook looks weird but the fish came out nice. But he loved it, so I'm happy! Sorry the photos kind of dark, I took it before I was leaving my sister's!

DIY Mugs

Hello,

 I made mugs for EVERYONE. I just went to the Dollar Store for mugs, I cleaned them out, haha! Then headed over to Michaels to get ceramic paint. I got the set of paints that you can bake instead of the individual bottles. Because I have no time to wait for things to cure... 28 days?! SORRY Christmas was in a few days! That's also why I didn't do the alcohol ink, it was so expensive then I didn't even use it! So that sucked. But anyway, I love the way they came out! I didn't get pictures of all of them, but got a few of my favorite ones. So take a look! Easy to make and the baking didn't take long at all! I made a horcrux for Sean's mother, she is a giant Harry Potter fan. So it's a wreath within a Christmas tree within a horcrux. I did a mermaid theme for my beautiful red headed cousin. And My Aunt's I did two sides using animal puns. For fox sake, I'm owl out of coffee (For f*ck sake, I'm all out of coffee" Sean helped with the owl side. I couldn't think of another pun! Attached to every mug I put a tag that had the care instructions, aka don't dishwasher it! Everyone loved and raved about them, my sister of course got jealous that she didn't get one, along with my mom. But I only made them for Aunt's for both mine and Sean's family, along with his grandmother!

                       

 I think I'll do a post about the process. By the end of 15 mugs I got pretty good and learned different tricks. I'll make something for my sissy!

An Ugly Birthday

'Twas the night of an ugly birthday, when all thro' the house party....

   Hahaha! So my birthday was small but fun, not too many people but the ones I love showed up, so that made me very happy and thankful. Each year I hate my birthday because no one has time for me. No one ever comes to my brithday party even when I throw parties for everyone else and feed them when I don't have too. But I was very lucky to have grown close with people this year and all came out to have a fun night with me. And also look ugly! But seriously I'm so grateful for these individuals in my life and I'm happy they celebrated the day of my birth with me!

I made Sean's sweater, you know that's the best sweater you've ever seen in your life. I mean, it the a pun on a sweater with Christopher Walken's face on it! Sean loves puns! He's probably the punniest guy I know so it's a perfect sweater for him to wear! Also Dina's puppy, a.k.a. my nephew, Ranger came to the party so Abby had a friend. How cute is that!!! Ain't no party like a puppy party, cause a puppy party don't stop!

   Ignore that last sentence, it was really lame. True, but lame.

A New York Christmas

Hi!

   So we went to NYC for two days! Did I mention how much Sean and I hate cities? A lot. But we had fun at the places we went to. That includes Madison Square Garden tour, Radio City Hall to see The Rockettes, Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum and Madame Tussaudes. So we had a jam packed two days planned. It was very overwhelming for me.

Friendsgiving

Hello,

   We had our Thanksgiving potluck with our friends, I decided to make it nicer than usual. We had brought up a table and I put nice tablecloths on them, a burlap runner, fall decor to lay out on the table. I got pretty plates and napkins. I made little silverware holders using kraft paper bags, used for single cookies, found in the baking aisle at Michaels. I wrote the person's name on the top and then made a spot for them to write what they were thankful for. Came out pretty since I have the worst handwriting ever!

   Ignore the Christmas tree, we usually do our dinner before Thanksgiving but everyone was busy so we did it the after and I put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving every year. Everyone had to bring something but I do most of the work. I made apple crisp, talk about yum! We don't know how to make any form of meat in the oven so we just got the already made kind at the grocery store. Haha!

 
   After dinner and the thanks we played a pictionary telephone game. It was hilarious. And we had a lot of people so that makes the game even more fun. Basically you have a pile of paper, number it one-whatever amount of people are there. On the first piece you wrote a sentence. It can be anything. "The cow jumped over the moon" or whatever! Then you pass your pile the person to your right and they read what you wrote place it at the bottom of the pile and have to interpret what you said with a drawing. Then the person who gets the pile after that have to write a sentence based on the 2nd persons drawing. By the time it circles back to you it's so funny to see whatever wrote/drew. I hope that wasn't too confusing, haha! Then we all headed to the living room to play to rock band!

   I am so thankful for my friends, new and old! I'm defiantly thankful for food. And oh yeah, my babers... he's alright. Lol

The Other Side Of A Good Day

   A good day leads to a bad day. It happens 7/10 times. If I had plans and end up being busy all day and staying active then the next day when I wake up to nothing, I get very depressed. It sucks, usually no reason to it. It just is how I feel.

   Yesterday I woke up at 8:30am to shower and get ready (I even put makeup on) to do errands with my mom for the day, I painted 3 watercolor painting for my Aunt's gift and at night was my her birthday get together. I just was in a great mood, laughing and enjoying the company of some of my favorite people that I don't see as often as I'd like. Today though, I woke up at 10 am, didn't even hear Sean leave for work, it's a cloudy day and I forgot to take my medication because I passed out when I got home. So today is a bad day, I just hope tomorrow's better...

Shutterfly Is Life

YAY!

   Shutterfly is my absolute favorite website for photo stuff! I've made tons of books for my sister and on for our Alaska trip. I do all my prints there, all my Christmas cards, and get our address labels. I get great coupons all the time. So we ordered coasters and they just came in today. Also we got new Christmas labels as well with our photo on them, haha! Look how wonderful they came out!!!

My Favorite Day

2014 Diva's wedding last summer.

   November 1st is the most wonderful day of the year, and that's saying a lot because Christmas is LIFE. Today is the day Sean and myself celebrate the start of our life together. This year marks our 5th anniversary!!! Can you believe it?! 5 years being truly in each others lives.

   We met once through a friend and ended up being facebook friends the same day. Years passed and it was about 6 years later, in 2010 we reconnect via liking each others photos and eventually talking on AIM and I asked him out. We had the perfect first date. Which it wasn't till the end of it I was able to really know it was in fact a first date not a hang out, haha! It's the only date I've ever been on that was unique. He brought me to this beautiful park around a reservoir. It was a gorgeous fall day, the leaves were beautiful yellows and oranges. The weather was perfect with the sun shining. Their were friendly passer byers along the path and we got to stop and pet this adorable dog. We just talked the whole time and sat on a bench and just got to know each other as we looked out at the water and the mountains across the way.

   Sean got a phone call from his friends saying they were all heading to a beer brewery and wanted him to come. I was 19 and Sean was 22.  So I couldn't go, I kind of felt sad that our date was about to end. But then to my surprise he said he didn't want to go! I knew that meant he was also having a good time. We were hungry and headed to friendly's, my favorite restaurant at the time. At the end of eating Sean pid for the both of us! I knew then it was a date!

   Next we left to head to his place because he had to take his dog out. We joke now that's how he got me, his dog. You can't resist a dog. We hung out on his trampoline with his dog and looked up at the stars as we talked. I noticed his dog was close to the edge of it. I said "I think she's going to jump off. And he was like oh no, she defiantly won't do that, then I repeat and say I really think she's going to jump down! And sure enough she did then took off down the street! Sean ended up chasing her for 15 minutes. His dog was so goofy as she ran and he looked so cute as he chased her down. He got her and we headed inside and laughed about his denial. We sat on his couch and watched movies. Cloverfield to be exact. We ended up holding hands, once Abby (the dog) moved from the middle of the loveseat we were on. She was clearly in love with him and didn't want to share, haha! And that's all we did. It was sweet and innocent, I really liked it. Then we stayed up till 2:30 am just watching movies. Then he brought me home. It was the perfect first date!

   The next 2 days we hung out and watched movies, we did end up having our first kiss, lol. Then about a week later on Halloween night, well around 2 am so technically November 1st, he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was so cute! And of course I said yes. I couldn't believe it. After a series of bad relationships of jerks after I graduated high school that wouldn't officially date me. because no one wanted real relationships. I didn't think a guy would really like me, to be with me. I thought my soon to be 20s were not about real love. When he asked me, my heart skipped a little faster that night. I knew this was something special. Everything worked out, we were a perfect match.

   A month went by, then 2, then 3... my longest relationship ever. We spent the holidays together, that was a first for me. He liked me enough to want his family to know me too. I was truly happy! Then it was a year, then 2, then 3, then 4.. then it had been half a decade. Sharing our lives, living together, traveling together. Our love is my favorite thing, he is my favorite person. He is my person. He has been there through everything. The worst and the greatest. Some of my favorite memories are shared with him. I still can't believe I am this lucky and we've been together. Meeting him once by chance for just
3 hours and to what we have become now. He is the man who makes me a better person, he completes my heart. We're five years in, but were still madly in love and act just like we begun.

Okay, now that I've made myself cry, I'm off to spend the night hanging out with the love of my life!
