FINALLY

Hi guys!

I am finally going to travel somewhere super cool and different than I've ever been before! Not that the other few places I've been weren't fun but they are defiantly not ALASKA! Yup, you heard it here folks, I'm headed to Alaska this August!

I'm going on a cruise with Sean and our best friend Tom and his mother. It was originally their trip then Tom said we should go too! So we of course said yes and we officially booked it last night! I can't even handle this. This is my first big trip ever. I've only been on a plane once when I was 6 to go to Florida but I was sick and don't remember the plane or the trip for that matter... Don't worry Disney, I'll be back for you someday! I've been to many places around my beautiful state of Connecticut for day trips and here is a list of the other states I've visited (if it's just a drive through to get somewhere else it doesn't count so I won't write it!)

Places I've already been to:

- Maine: Camping with Sean and Tom for a week plus on the way we stopped at butterfly garden in Massachusetts

- Massachusetts: Big E every year, butterfly garden as I said above, but want to go to Boston since I'm usually only on the border of CT/MA.

- Canada: International Graffiti Festival with Sean and friends for long weekend

- North Carolina: Road tripped with Sissybear for 4 days to visit family friend, Mark.

- New York: Many day trips to NYC and other surrounding places such as MoMa, Bronx Zoo and comedy shows and other stuff too!

- Rhode Island: Misquamicut every year till I was 18 went for a week with my Aunt & Uncle and now I just for beach days since it's not far!

- New Jersey: Family vacation when I was 11ish to the beach.

- Pennsylvania: Family vacation to visit "Grandpa" Manus aka my moms old boss. Want to go back so I can explore it as an adult and actually remember it and the awesome historical stuff.

- Florida: But honestly I don't count it! *Cries*

I can't think of/remember any others? But that's it and a few I barely remember what we did since I was young. I want to go to all 50 states as an adult who can actually do stuff and I want to go with Sean even if I've been there. So we got 3 out of 50, hahaha! BUT it's about to be 4!

We get to visit more then one place in Alaska too since it's a cruise so that's awesome! I can not wait to see the beauty of this amazing state. Everyone who has been has said it's breathtaking, and from just the pictures I've seen I believe them. I can't wait to be in awe of something so real and from nature. It will be something I will remember forever.

Safe travels,
Christina

My Little Ballerina

Hi everyone!

So I saw a cute ballerina sketch on Pinterest and was already painting so I made the design into a watercolor/ink painting for my friend Rachel of her daughter Aaliyah! Came out pretty good! I'd give credit of the original design the the owner but Pinterest didn't tell me whose it was! But anyway here is my version!

This picture came out dark, sorry it was a cellphone pic!

This one is more true to color then the top picture!
Hope you like it!

Ruff

Hello everypuppy,

I painted this dog figurine that I got for $2 at the Dollar General to look like Abby! They never have one that looks like Abby because she is a boxer mix, full boxer ones always have pointed ears and Abby's a little on the chunky side... sorry pup. All you need is acrylic paint and brushes. It was super easy, you can make it any dog you'd like! And since it was only $2 if I messed up it wouldn't have been that big of a deal!
I even have her little "paint drip" on the back of her head haha! So cute!

Throwback Thursday

From the 8th grade! These are actually the only photos I have from then. I didn't have a camera till I was 16 so I relied on friends for pictures.

This was from the 8th grade dance. The last fling before going to high school! I for the first time ever got my bush man eyebrows done! I was in the punk group so I looked extra pretty if I do say so myself since I usually was wearing black.... Top photo and Jessie and I, we are still friends! Bottom is Sam, she was one of my best friends. The kind of friend were basically your adopted by the whole family, haha! And on the left is Kayla. We aren't friends anymore, but she's doing great! She joined the Navy! Can't believe this was 2005!

7th and 8th grade was the year of the photobooth pictures! We were going to the movies and mall by ourselves now! It was super fun to be independent and photobooths were all the rage with all my friends. It sucked having to fight over the two strips that came out of the machine.

This is Amanda, she was my best friend since 5th grade! Top picture is our 5th grade classroom. The bottom is from 7th grade. Everyone went to Williamsburg that year for a week for a school trip. Amanda and I did CT field week instead. It was super fun, not having money seemed to be more fun then going away when the best people stayed here!

Happy Throwback Thursday!

Bad days happen...

Today was a good slash bad day....

Today my new job of only one day is over... Though I feel kind of relieved because it took over a month after being hired on spot, they were rude a few times. And it seemed like I was a bother!

But I must stay positive on making changes in my life and not let this be a set back. I have said time and time again I'm getting my license and every time I didn't. I've been trying since 18. I'm now 24. I let my anxiety run my life. And since New Year's I've been doing my best to be a better me. Also it was not a New Year's resolution, that's too cliche it just happened to be at the same time, haha!

I've been driving farther and on more intense roads then ever! My mom doesn't really tell me where we're going which helps because I don't get panic attacks thinking about how far and every road I'll be on. She just says "turn right" or "follow this street all the way down" I'm doing fantastic! I drove to my grandma's house and those streets were multiple lanes and crowded spots even my boyfriend and sister hate driving in! I did so good, I had one moment I can't believe I didn't panic. A cop was coming out of no where just as I was about to switch lanes for the first time ever. Thankfully, I handled it well and pulled over just in time!

Unfortunately there has been tons of snow storms where schools get canceled. My mother's car is so bad in snow she doesn't even drive in it, her car will slide. So it's been 2 weeks since the last drive. But this week I'm going to my sisters and she has a great car and a good neighborhood to drive in snowy winter for the first time that's not too crazy.

I've applied to a bunch of places to work and trying to find one that will suit my mental health needs. I can not work at the mall, I did that once and it was too many people and hectic most of the time. I couldn't handle it and only stayed at Gilly Hicks for 2 weeks then I had to quit. But I'm hopeful for a small restaurant or maybe a store like FedEx where it's less dealing with people and more just work. Once I get my license it will broaden where I can find a job. My sister's future hubs, Odie said he will get me a job at the office where he works at an Oil Company, it's only two older women and just filing and phone calls! That would be perfect for someone like me.

I'm very hopeful and must stay on track with believe I can, instead of excuse of I can't because.

Wish me luck,
-Christina

I Party Where 50 Cent Can't Get In...

I'm just saying...

I went to a wedding reception and it was awesome! Sean's Uncle Mark and his now wife Cinzia got married a month ago in a immediate family ceremony. So they finally had their reception! It was at this country club were even Mr. 50 Cent himself can't get in! Woot, woot, I'm a celebrity! Just kidding.

Cinzia and Mark with Mark's kids, Danielle and Tonio and Tonio's gf Ashley

It was a big sit down dinner, like the long family table style! So Italian. Well, Cinzia is from Italy! It was so lovely. They did buffet style, which I love. Though I didn't care too much for the food they offered. But we had great seats, the head of the table! Well I guess it's the butt since the other end was the head with the bride and groom!

The bride and groom!

After food we played.... Minute To Win It games! I killed it in the play-doh charades. I did a damn fine wheel chair and high heel, haha. I ditched Sean for Team Dog, I mean duh. I love dogs! We came in 4th otherwise known as dead last. Oh well it was super fun and I've definitely never been to a wedding like that before. By the end of the night I was exhausted and couldn't wait to put on pjs!

My sculpting in the process!

Have a good week!

Valentine's Card Exchange

Hey love bugs!

I had a little Valentine's Day get together with the guys, it was such a lovely time. Everyone brought appetizers and desserts. I made my famous chocolate covered strawberries. They went fast! I made everyone a custom Valentine. And everyone brought some to pass out. We're too cute. Haha!

I lovelovelove painting with watercolor. It is my favorite art medium. I make cards all year round with them. I'm not going to say all of my vday cards were my idea, I thank Pinterest for some! But the anime, and truck plowing over snowman and peanut one were my ideas! Below are some of the others plus party pics!

We all had a great time. We watch Weekend At Bernie's Two! Haha, ridiculously hilarious! Also the Kayne vday card was perfect. Also don't mind the weed card, no I do not smoke, but my friend does so it was perfect for him! Lol. And Sean's was the old person one. We're kind of weird and like to random act like we can't move and then the other person has to try to make them stand up. It's so funny, we end up on the floor and get dragged by feet and we laugh so hard my stomach starts to hurt! You may not understand, but I believe every couple is really weird when their alone!

Sean made me the best card ever! He's a mural artist as some of you readers know. He painted an amazing mural with his friend for an elementary school!  Click the Art link at the top of the page to see some post of his work! So on the card he wrote Babers, graffiti can be hard to read if you're not really familiar with it, but since I've been around it for four years I understand it a lot better than before. Sean and I call each other that, cause it's cute of us. Another inside joke is to remix songs and phrases with the word Babers. So if a song is playing on the radio we change random words in the song to Babers. Sean's really good at it. I suck at it.  So he wrote Babers Of The Lost Ark. On the inside he wrote the sweetest things. I may or may not have cried! I love him so much, I still get butterflies.

With love,

DIY Valentine's Love Letter

Hey my little loves!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! I'm going to show you how to make a little Valentine's envelope! You can give it to a boyfriend, friend, or even a family member. It's nothing too mushy. But it can be if you want to make it more lovey dovey. Okay let's begin.

Gather your supplies! You'll need...
-Mini paper pouch, I got mine from Michael's in the scrapbook section.
-Watercolor paint/paint brushes (Optional, you can use markers, colored pencils, etc.)
-A sharpie
-Paper
-Scissors

Step One: Fold your piece of paper up.

Step Two: Draw different size hearts on it.

Step: Three: Cute out the hearts, since you folded you'll get more hearts and have to less to cut!

Step Four: Paint your hearts all different colors. I didn't write too much on them, but you could write things such as I love you or personal things. Let them full dry!

Step Five: Grab your pouch and write on it just the way you write on a envelope to mail. You can write real stuff but I made mine up mostly because I was going to post it here. Then for the stamp I made a little red heart.

Step Six: Place the hearts inside and then seal it with either glue or tape.

Step Seven: Give it to whom you'd like to receive it, I placed mine in our Valentine's card holder! I got my mail box at Big Lots for about $5. Too cute!

Hope you enjoyed this DIY Valentine!

Quote Of The Day: Mental Health

Thoughts? I've always found that talking about my problems and feelings relieves me of built up stress or anger. Or just saying "Today I'm sad" to someone like my boyfriend, I feel better because sharing it helps and then I get support and don't feel alone.

Abby Selfie

Hi!

Before Super Bowl we had to pick up Abby from Sean's parents. This is what I got out of that.

Sexy Selfie Sunday!

Super Bowl Sunday

Hey line backers!

Super Bowl was fun, per usual. I don't even like football, haha! We always have it at Uncle Frank's. It's the biggest family party of the year. The house is packed and both living room tvs are on! Yes, they have two living rooms, right next to each other. Both have giant televisions! My favorite part is commercials and halftime, obviously.

We're all really weird and have to comment on all commercials and durning halftime we all sing alone to Katy Perry! P.s. Missy was amazing!!! We had so much fun. I love my family!
