Lili Comes For A Visit

Yay!

Had Rachel and Aaliyah come over for dinner. Rachel is one of my good friend, but the kind that you never see. But as soon as we are together it's like we weren't apart. Lili is the only child that actually hangs out inmy house. She calls me Abby's mommy. She loves playing with her. And of course Abby loves it, plus someone get's feed food by a little girl. I wonder who.....

Aaliyah likes to show us her dances moves. It's the best thing to watch and her laugh it the sweetest sound.  Rachel is one of the most amazing moms I have ever met. And Lili adores her to no end. A beautiful thing and I love to witness these amazing people! I'm glad to have met Rachel working at Justice, we started at the same time and since the first time we talked we were destined to be friends! Even after we quit we never lost touch and I will always love these two!

Love them,
Christina

DIY Wedding Mug

Hi ladies and gents!

Dina wanted for her wedding these mugs she saw on Pinterest and they were so cute! And they were for beer which is certainly important to the bride and groom. But why buy when it's something you can easily make yourself! Plus a lot of wedding stuff is so expensive and renting a venue, getting dresses, etc. is already very costly. So save money where you can!

SUpplies needed
- Glass mugs
- Twine
- Glue gun
- Scrapbook wood words

Add a dab of glue under the handle on the mug and attach the string. Continue to wrap the string around the glass add glue all the way at different spots, too much glue will make it uneven and stick up in spots. Careful, burning your finger tips is likely. At least for me! Next take your chosen labels, mine were about $2.50 and they are wood, found right in the scrapbook section near the wedding stickers. Put some glue on the back of the label and position it on the center of the twine. I did each mug opposite so they would look cute for photos while they held them. It was super cheap to make. The glass mugs you can even find at a dollar store or use old ones you already have! All in all this was pretty inexpensive to make. But remember it's only hand wash, obv.

Hope you try to make your own!

Custom Mr. & Mrs. Chair Signs

Hey everybody,

Today I'm going to show you how to make your own back of the chair signs for a wedding. These were made for my sisters wedding which was July 3rd so it has an American theme. But that can be easily changed to what you are going for. Why spend $40 bucks on something you can easily make, you don't even have to have a crafty bone in your body! So hope you dig it!

Step One:

Gather your supplies! A quick run to your local craft store is all you need. My go-to is Michael's because it's cheap and right down the street from me, hehe!

Supplies
- Stain an a rag (I use old t-shirts)
- Red, white, and blue paint and small brushes
- Glue (Glue gun or wood glue)
- Garbage bags
- Wooden hearts (You can by a wood sign in the wood section at the store. They have different designs too and come with string already put on.)
- Wooden letters
- Star Stencil

Step Two:

Lay out a few garbage bags on the surface you'll be working on so you don't get stain or paint on your table. Then open your stain of choice and still it, grab a rag and proceed to wipe it on the wooden sign or even the letters if you choose. I put a lot on to make it darker. Wait till it is completely dry before continuing. I waited a full day.

Step Three:

Get your glue of choice and in the center of your wood sign and place the letters on as neatly as you can, then let that dry. Next grab your star stencil and a small brush. Paint different color stars all around. Be careful with painting in the stencil and don't use a sponge, it will look smudgy and paint with seep under it into the crevices of the wood so use a small brush to outline it first the fill it in.

Ignore those sponges! Haha!

Let dry and your all set! Play around with different ideas, I'm sure whatever you decide will turn out great!

Love always,
