The Rehearsal

Hey peeps

The rehearsal was fun and relaxing thankfully. I was already getting nervous for the wedding and I'm not even the bride! But then again she doesn't have to give a speech in front of over 200 people.... Here are some pictures of us practicing the walking down the aisle and entering the reception. We all felt ridiculous since it's basically playing pretend wedding just like I did in elementary school. But it was comical how over dramatic we all were. The man below in front of my sister is named Scott, he is THE MAN. He works at The Woodwinds and is like the behind the scenes guy. We literally could not have done this without him. If you plan on having a wedding in Branford, Connecticut GO TO HIM! He will make your wedding perfect! He tells you how to hold a bouquet which you'd think would be basic but your wrong and he knows the truth. Plus he is hilarious and makes you feel confident. BTW the fake bouquet I'm holding is wrong. Don't do that.

Next we headed off the the dinner at a restaurant in town. It was nice to just be chill and eat some grub! Dina and Odie gave a thank you speech to all of us... well, I should say Dina did then when she turned it over to him and said "Yeah, what she said!" Hahaha! It cracked us all up. Then they gave the bridal party gifts, the guys all got socks to wear at the wedding and all the girls got selfie sticks! We of course all make fun of those things, but honestly... they are perfect for a wedding!

The picture above is of the boyfriend and my cousin, Jake. Is the most important task of them all, bringing the wedding gown to the bridal suite at the location of the wedding. We teased them the whole ride that if they messed up this task they'd ruin the whole wedding! It was a fantastic night and when we all got back to the hotel we all went for a swim in The Holiday Inn Express's indoor pool and they even had a jacuzzi too! Great hotel, I highly recommend it! Below is a picture of mine and Sean's room! We sleep in a full size bed at home with a dog and a cat so naturally we got a king sized bed.

Love always,
   Christina
